UNDP works in 170 countries and territories to eradicate poverty and reduce inequality and help countries to develop policies, leadership skills, partnering abilities, institutional capabilities, and to build resilience to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. Our work is concentrated in three focus areas; sustainable development, democratic governance and peace building, and climate and disaster resilience.
DWSSC has signed an LOA with UNDP India to undertake projects aimed to promote employability & develop unique entrepreneurship model for the women from low income segment.
UN Women
The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women, also known as UN Women, is a United Nations entity working for the empowerment of women.
DWSSC has signed a tripartite agreement with UN Women & Pimpri Chichwad Municipal Corporation to support access to skilling and employment to female domestic workers in Pimpri-Chinchwad region and thereby bring female domestic workers out of poverty, eliminate harassment and exploitation at the workplace.
